Temescal.) The restaurant will be serving coffee & toast with Blue

Artists with a Fashion Focus – Upcoming Show (North Beach)

Looking to showcase several artists with some type of fashion focus/theme. Your art will be featured and for sale at an upcoming shopping event October 9 – 11 in North Beach during San Francisco’s Fleet Week! Friday evening will be the artists’ reception, Saturday and Sunday will feature your art while the public is also shopping for fashion and accessory items from participating vendors. I will not take any commission off the sales of your art – you keep it all, but as I am renting the space for the event, I am asking for an exhibition fee of $150. Call for Vendors – Potrero Hill Festival – October 17, 2009 (potrero hill)

The 19th Annual Potrero Hill Festival, taking place on October 17th from 11am-4pm, is now accepting applications for vendor participation. This event will take place on 20th Street in Potrero Hill with it’s amazing views of downtown San Francisco and the Bay. We expect 3,000-4,000 people to attend throughout the day. Our rates are very reasonable rates and we would be excited to have you join us for this special day!

We will be heavily promoting the event with a unique poster from Michael Rios, best known for his work on Carlos Santas album covers, with our media partners the San Francisco Bay Guardian and The Potrero View, alongside an on-line marketing campaign.

The festival will feature many activities’ for young and young at heart, including a main stage featuring top local performers, the Book Mobile, a fire truck, a unique children’s area with games, crafts and a petting zoo! We will also have space for approximately 30 vendors and want to welcome you to our mix of food, art, jewelry, crafts, clothing and fun!

International African Market Place needs vendor for Fair/Festival. (Bayview Hunter’s Point)

The 3rd Annual International African Market Place Festival, is taking place Saturday, September 12th from 11:00pm-6:00pm and Sunday, September 13th from 12:00pm-6:30pm at The Bayview Opera House. The International Market Place is important because it serves the African-themed festival outdoor setting for the display and sale of arts, crafts, sculptures, fabrics, clothing, books and fresh, wholesome and health foods as commonly found in a Farmer’ Market. The IAM is now accepting applications for vendor participation. This event will take place at The Bayview Opera House, located at where you are sure to experience some of the best weather in San Francisco. Our rates are reasonable and we would be excited to have you join us for this special weekend.

Lynbrook Holiday Craft Faire- Nov 21, 2009

Dear Craftsperson,

We would like to invite you to participate in the Lynbrook Holiday Craft Faire! It has been our pleasure to host this traditional event to mark the beginning of the Holiday season for many years. We are looking forward to yet another great year, and we do hope that you want to help us make it the best Holiday Craft Faire ever.

Special features of the Lynbrook Craft Faire:

This Faire has strong support from the community. Our regular patrons love to buy at this show! We have many regular shoppers from the affluent communities of Saratoga, Cupertino, and West San Jose. Vendors love our fabulous, friendly students helping with setup, tear down, and free services throughout the Faire. That’s one reason why 75% of our vendors come back to sell at our Faire again. Vendor fees benefit the band and orchestra programs at Lynbrook High School.

Important information you need to know:

This Faire is for handcrafted items made by craftspeople. Please do not offer any items for sale that don’t follow these guidelines!

Location: Lynbrook High School, 1280 Johnson Ave., San Jose, 95129

Gym: booths are 12’ wide and 5’ deep

Outdoors: 12’ x 5’ booths will be located under 8’ overhang so they will be protected in case of rain. Vendors with canopies may request a 10’ x 10’ outdoor space (no overhang)

Date & Time: Saturday, November 21. Set-up 7:00 am. Faire 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Clean-up 4:00-6:00 pm.

Cost: $65 ($70 after November 1)

Cancellation/fee refund policy – We provide full fee refund for cancellations received before 11/1, 75% refund for cancellations received between 11/1 and 11/6, 50% refund for cancellations received between 11/7 and 11/13, 25% refund for cancellations received between 11/14 and 11/19. Sorry no refund for cancellations made after 11/19.

Bounced check is subject to $10 charge.

Electrical outlets are available upon request at no extra charge. Tables are available for rent. One 8’ table costs $10 and two 6’ tables cost $20.

Occidental Holiday Crafts Faire – Dec 12th & 13th, 2009

The Occidental Community Council is holding our 24th Annual Crafts Faire on December 12th and 13th, 2009. We are looking for local crafts people with handmade items that would like to participate in this event and become part of the Occidental tradition. Handmade products (toys, jewelry, clothing, gift items, specialty foods, ornaments and more) are welcomed! This event is the one fund raiser we put on all year, and the community comes out and supports it!

This two day event is very popular with West County residents, and the proceeds from this fundraiser go directly back in to the community. Occidental Community Council:

Established in 1986, the Occidental Community Council is an all-volunteer, non-profit corporation. Representing a diverse cross-section of the community, we meet once a month to discuss investing our support and resources locally. Our entire budget is derived from this wonderful Holiday Crafts Faire.
