San Francisco Arts Market is a weekly open-air market and performance and activity platform. We offer vending space to local artists, artisans and supportive nonprofits to market and sell handmade products. A joint project of Independent Arts & Media and The Mayors Office of Economic Workforce and Development, the market aims to culturally and economically engage UN Plaza every Thursday. The Arts Market kicked off its 2nd year on June 16th, 2011 and is going strong. Join us for the fun and effort to vitalize the Civic Center region with art and culture!
We are currently seeking artist and artisan vendors and performers to participate at the Market. Vendors receive a placement in the Plaza, a 10×10 tent, steady foot traffic and a lunchtime crowd due to Off the Grid Food Trucks attendance in the Plaza from 11:00am-2:00pm. Vending is currently free! Tables and chairs can be rented for a nominal fee.
Vending is FREE!
**Vendor requirement is that merchandise marketed and sold must be designed and produced by local artists and artisans.
To request participation please go to: http://artsmarketsf.org/ click ‘Participate’ and fill out/submit the first time vendors form.
If you are a performer interested in performing at the Market (some stipends are available) please fill out the online ‘Participate’ form described above.
