Craft and merchandise vendors wanted for our Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, 10/13/12. This event will be held at St. David’s school, 871 Sonoma St. Richmond. It will be well attended by our school and parish community as well as highly publicized and promoted to the public. If you have crafts or products that you would like to sell, this is the place to do it! Tables are only $25.00. Applications accepted until 10/6/12. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and set up begins at 9:00 a.m.

Old Fashioned Christmas Boutique – Nov. 9 & Nov. 10th -Walnut Creek

The Old Fashioned Christmas Boutique is looking for new crafters for their 41st year as a Boutique. Each crafter in our show creates their own hand made items. We ask that anyone contacting the show send pictures of their crafts so we can limit any duplications. The Boutique is made up of 30 crafters who specialize in crafts like runner, jewelry, stain glass, metal work, pet, children and Holiday. The show dates are Nov. 9 from 9am-7pm & Nov. 10th from 9am-5pm at the Elks Lodge in Walnut Creek, Ca. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to request an application. We do hold juries.

MetalFest – Hayward – Saturday, October 13, 2012

 On October 13th, Bands4Bands in association with The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District presents 6th Annual MetalFest 2012 and Canned Food Drive to support The Salvation Army at Memorial Park, Hayward Plunge. MetalFest is poised to surpass last year’s fete:

“MetalFest is getting bigger and bigger every year and we’re glad to be a part of it.” — Jason Darnell with the band Kaos,

1,000+ guests are expected this year at Memorial Park behind the Hayward Plunge. The massive stage will feature seven bands including Special Guest Headliner Kaos!..with Star Destroyer, Bay Area Veterans Mystic Rage, Cyanate (from Reno), Feral Depravity, Hemorage, and 42 lbs. All genres of metal will be represented hailing from all corners of the Bay Area. This festival covers a wide range of Bay Area Metal sounds.

MetalFest was started 6 years ago when Bands4Bands saw a need in the community for food assistance.

The upper knoll of the park will showcase vendors and local artists displaying their finest wares. The Bands4Bands booth will house the canned food donation bins, “bring a metal can…and see a metal band”. Performing bands will have their merchanise for sale. Free, while supplies last, a MetalFest Poster with a purchase of an event T-Shirt featuring all performing bands.

So pack your lunch, blanket and lawn chair for a killer day of metal. And for all the kids there is a play area on-site open throughout the festival. Don’t forget…”bring a metal can…and see a metal band”.

Richmond Art Center: Call to Artist and Vintage Vendors

Sell your art or vintage items to the East Bay Community at this year’s Holiday Arts Festival, Vintage Edition.

(Richmond, CA, September 13)—The Richmond Art Center (RAC) has put out a call to artist and vintage vendors for it’s annual Holiday Arts Festival on December 2nd, 2012.

Artist and vintage vendors are the centerpiece of the festival, which will also include live music, a café, a fine art silent auction, the RAC’s famous ceramics sale, and kids art activities. This year, the Richmond Art Center is celebrating hosting this event for over 50 years with a 1960’s theme. Come in vintage costume!

The Holiday Arts Festival, encouraging the community to shop local support the arts since 1961.
