Seeking art, food, and craft vendors for the Orinda Community Center Auxiliary’s 33rd annual Holiday Bazaar ~ November 1st and 2nd

The Orinda Community Center Auxiliary [OCCA] sponsors the bazaar.
OCCA is an all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining and improving Orinda’s excellent Community Center.

The Holiday Bazaar has enjoyed enormous community support over the years, and strives to make an attractive and profitable venue for participating vendors. 

Booth sizes range from 5’x8’ and 10’x8’ indoors to 10’x10’ sites outdoors, large enough for EZ-Up tents.
Tables and electricity are also available.
~ Food vendors welcomed ~
Times: Saturday Nov 1st 10-4:30 and Sunday Nov 4th 11-4:30pm

Vendors WANTED!!! The Women’s Club is renting spaces for $35 each in it’s parking lot for anyone who needs to declutter, sell crafts or might have salesmans samples! Now is the time to have fun and make HOLIDAY CASH!

The Women’s Club will be holding their “World Famous” Rummage sale inside the clubhouse at the same time!

Call for Volunteers and Vendors for Harvest and Herb Festival (Sebastopol)

Call for Volunteers and Vendors for Harvest and Herb Festival Coming up on Saturday, October 11 from 2 to 11 is the Third Annual Harvest and Herb Festival at Laguna Farm on Cooper Rd. in Sebastopol. The event is a benefit for the Sonoma County Herb Exchange. As a volunteer you receive free admission plus other goodies. The shifts are only 2 hours long so you can enjoy lots of the events of the day such as:
Farm tour, alternative energy systems tour, an herb walk
An essential oil distillation demonstration
An herbal beer making class or a healing with essential oils class
And, in the evening music by the Blues Burners

We need set-up and clean-up help, people to man the admissions gate, people to sell food and beverages tickets, and people to help behind the food tables and more. You can email me with your phone # and what you would like to do. I will pass on the your information. Or, you can call the Herb Exchange at 824-1447.

The  Portola Festival on San Bruno Ave. was created to spotlight the diversity, character and distinctiveness of one of the city’s most interesting and fastest growing neighborhoods: the Portola District. The Festival features bistro style dining, arts, crafts, community booths, entertainment areas, large inflatable bounces, a petting zoo and pony rides, as well as showcasing the unique merchants of the area. The Festival will be held on 3 blocks of San Bruno Ave. in San Francisco, from Silliman St. to Bacon St. It is an ideal location for a festival, with tree plantings, unique restaurants and community activism. TRAINA PARENTS CLUB HOLIDAY CRAFTS FAIR {TRACY}

Traina Parents Club of Anthony Traina Elementary School is proud to present ‘The 1st Annual Spring into Crafts Fair’ on November 8, 2008 from 10am-4pm.  The Parents Club is very happy and excited about our newest fundraiser, and we would like to extend an invitation to you to join us.  In order to enhance the school experience for our children, fund-raising is a very important part of what the Parents Club does.  Funds raised will be put toward programs like; Artist in Residence, ACE awards, School Assemblies and the Science Camp donation, to name a few.
The Crafts Fair committee is only accepting quality handmade craft items.  Commercially produced, imported or garage sale items will not be accepted.  This will be strictly enforced.  All applications will be juried and you will be notified of our decision by mail.  Please include with your application, 2-3 clear photos of your items that you plan to sell at the show.  If you would like your photos returned, include a SASE.  The deadline for applications is October 15th, 2008.  The booth fee is $60.00 for a 10×10 space, $75.00 for 10×12 and $50.00 for 10×5.  There is a $10.00 charge if you require electricity, spaces limited, first come first served basis.  Tables will not be provided.  Each vendor is asked to contribute one of his/her craft items to our Silent Auction.  Your item will be clearly marked showing that you have made the donation and which booth space you are located.  Please submit your contribution to the Craft Fair committee on the day of the show before it opens at 10am.  Set-up will start at 7:30am and we ask you stay for the entire show and do not begin packing up until 4:05pm.
Please note: The State of California requires that you have a resellers permit.  If you do not have one, you can obtain one online at www.boe.ca.gov.  The permit is free.  A temporary permit can also be obtained for a one time use.  The tax rate in San Joaquin County is 7.75%.
