Cole Valley – Sunday, September 20, 2009

March 9th, 2009
Attention Artists, Vendors, Musicians, and Owners of Unique Cars:

The Cole Valley Improvement Association (CVIA) is pleased to announce that the Cole Valley Fair will be back again for its seventh year on Sunday, September 20, 2009.

The Cole Valley Fair continues to be a charming and well-attended event sponsored by local merchants and organizations with outstanding records of community support. The fair features local art and fine crafts, food from neighborhood restaurants, live music, a display of historical Cole Valley photographs, a full block of vintage automobiles owned by neighborhood residents, events for children, and more!

If you’re an artist with unique handcrafted work or a food vendor with tasty morsels, we hope you’ll apply for a booth space. The deadline is July 1. Priority will be given to Cole Valley residents, returning vendors, and to promising new applicants. (Imported merchandise will not be considered).  We will be accepting some applicants before the deadline date.

We’re also seeking musicians from all genres and styles for one-hour performance slots. Please note that limited amplification will be allowed – see the application form for details. The Cole Valley Fair is a small and intimate street fair where the right sound will attract a lot of attention.

Application forms for vendors, musicians,  are available online at www.cviasf.org and on paper at Postal Chase, 915 Cole Street.

Send your questions or comments to colevalleyfair@gmail.com. Interested in volunteering for the fair? Send your name and how you’d like to help to colevalleyfair@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Fair!

The Haight-Ashbury Street Fair – June 14

February 13th, 2009

The application for booth space(s) at the 32nd HASF is now available.   This festival provides the neighborhood with the opportunity to showcase the variety of mercantile, cultural and community services available in this district. By creating a festival atmosphere, the street fair creates a stage for many artisans, musicians, artists and performers to present their work to the public. And, as a community service, HASF enables many non-profit organizations a chance to conduct outreach campaigns.

Chillin' March 7th at 111 Minna

January 20th, 2009

Hello Everyone!!! Happy New Year! I hope everything is great!

The reason I am writing is because we will be having our first show of the

year Saturday March 7 at 111 Minna.

So I am booking designers for the March 7, 2009 show

The show will feature 50 local designers, 6DJ’s, live music, live painting,

the 111 Minna art exhibition, video installation and live painting.

The show is from 8:00pm-2:00am

As always all the my shows are free for my designers to vend, however I do

expect all designers involved help promote. I do not work with designers

that just show up to do the show. It’s a collaboration and that is what has

made the shows so successful for the last 10 years!

If you are interested in participating please let me know ASAP as I get

booked really fast.

Gracias
