The Dougherty Valley Holiday Boutique is scheduled for November 15th from 2:30pm-7:00pm at Quail Run Elementary in San Ramon. Our boutique website and vendor application are now online. We plan to have entertainment, holiday demonstrations, kids activities and food trucks to attract shoppers all night. We hope you consider being a vendor at our boutique this year. Artists & Crafters needed for La Pena- Berkeley – Nov 24th & 25th

The Womyn of Color Arts and Craft Show invites you to participate in our
18 Th. Annual Crafts Fair, Saturday & Sunday, November 24th and 25th, from 10:30 am to 4:30pm at La Peña Cultural Center, 3015 Shattuck Ave. in Berkeley.

Approximately 10 Craftswomyn will be selected to sell at this event. Women of Color Artists are selected to ensure diversity of arts and crafts and to reflect the diversity of the local community of Womyn of Color. Booth space is $ 100.00 for one day and $ 150.00 for both days (nonrefundable).
It’s important to reaffirm that all artwork shown and sold at this event must be original work made by the Women of Color vendors themselves. We will not accept work of others, manufactured work, or imported work.

Call for vendors – Thornhill Winter Craft Bazaar

Save the date: Saturday, December 8, 2012

Thornhill School in Oakland will hold its Winter Bazaar in the multi-purpose room from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

• Vendors can be current school families or other local artisans and crafters, adults or kids.

• Vendors will sell handcrafted items: art, jewelry, clothing, accessories, notecards, bath products, and packaged homemade food – items perfect for holiday gift-giving.

• Table reservation fees: $30 for current school families, $75 for outside vendors. Proceeds benefit Thornhill Elementary.

• The event will be promoted locally – Advertisements will be placed in “The Montclarion,” through the school’s various networks, and on local event calendars. Banners, signage and fliers will be posted and distributed throughout the area.

• Entertainment and fun activities will be provided for kids, including a holiday workshop and a bouncy house (on the playground).

To reserve a sales table complete the participation form (click here) and send along with your check made out to Thornhill PFC. Deadline for entry is Friday, November 16th.

Call for Artists and Crafters – Dec 15 & 16 – Calistoga

ECHO gallery will be hosting the Artisan Trunk Show this year on Dec 15 & 16. They are looking for crafters and artisans to participate for a minimal booth fee. The theme is “alternative holiday”– we like the unusual. Previous years have featured flowing feathery earrings by Sonia Lub, letterpress greetings by Barn Simple Press, paintings and illustrations by Melissa Garden Streblow and mixed-media masterpieces by Christopher Jones-Marino.

The Annual Artisan Trunk Show featuring hundreds of handmade items from local artists is coming up December 15 & 16 in Calistoga, CA.

This popular local event was initiated by artists Melissa and Mercedes Baker of the Ehlers Lane Art Collective which is a fun-loving group of

working artists who have organized exhibitions at St. Supery Winery, Bardessono Resort, Yo El Rey Roasting, and Arlene Francis Theater. 

They will be joined by ceramic artists Nikki Ballere Callnan and William Callnan who run the ceramics studio at Nimbus Arts, and will be displaying gorgeous handmade mugs, platters, and other artful vessels. Other wonderful items to be found include: jewelry, textiles, letterpress, clothing, and homemade treats. Live music and beverages add to the holiday mix.

Art Vendors Wanted – San Francisco – Nov 14th

The ASWA along with the Women’s Initiative is hosting their second annual Holiday Boutique on Wed Nov 14th from 5pm to 8pm in the financial district of San Francisco.

The vendors participating are women owned craft cottage businesses and there are a couple more tables to fill.
This is a small venue and we do not have a table charge.
ASWA and the Women’s Initiative are non for profit organizations.
