Now Accepting Applications for Vagabond Indie Craft Fair – Oct. 15th and 16th -San Francisco

August 1st, 2011

Vagabond will be a 2 day show, held on Sat. and Sun. October 15th and 16th, from 11am to 5pm. This craft fair is hosted by Urban Bazaar, and will take place in the store’s backyard garden at 1371 9th Ave. (between Irving and Judah), San Francisco. To allow for a more interesting and diverse show, we are accepting most vendors for ONE DAY only; you have your choice of Saturday or Sunday. We may have space for some vendors to participate both days- make sure to check the box for which days, or both, you would prefer! Our last Vagabond was a lot of fun and a huge success! Since we have limited space (only 12-14 6′ tables), we have to make a lot of tough decisions about who to include; if you don’t make the cut this time, don’t despair! There will be more Vagabonds in the future and we encourage you to apply again. We like to keep things fresh and different at each show.

8th Annual Steamroller Printing Festival – Sept 24th – San Francisco

July 23rd, 2011

This day-long outdoor event attracts hundreds of attendees from all over the Bay Area and beyond.  Using a three-ton construction steamroller and the street as an unlikely letterpress bed, a team of artists and printers print large-scale linoleum carved block prints.  In addition to the steamroller printing centerpiece, there are artists, vendors, and organizations presenting an assortment of fine and affordable wares. Each year we invite book artists, printers, designers, and crafters from our community to sell their designs at these tables, and we would like to extend to you this opportunity.  In 2010, Roadworks attracted more than 5,000 attendees.

The ROADWORKS: Steamroller Printing Street Fair will take place Saturday, September 24th, 2011 on Rhode Island Street, between 16th and 17th Streets.  This year, we have fifty tables available.  A discount is offered for early reservations.

Rates are as follows:
Before Friday, July 15th
Whole table for $100.00
Half table for $60.00

After Friday, July 15th
Whole table for $125.00
Half table for $75.00
