AMS Third Annual Arts and Crafts Fair 12/4/11‏ – Albany

We are now planning the Third Annual AMS Arts and Crafts fair. Below is the information you will need to register for this event.

Date: Sunday, December 4th, 2011
Time: 12-3pm
Place: Albany Middle School gym on Brighton Ave. in Albany

The prices for reserving a spot are as follows:
3′-4′ table: $20
6′ table: $30
8′-10′ table: $40
Anything larger: $60

We are asking that every artists bring their own table.

Since this is a fundraiser as well as a great community event, we would like to recommend that each participant donate 20% of final sales to AMS. Since this is a donation, anything (more or less) will be welcomed and appreciated. 100% of what you donate will go to supporting the middle school.

Spice of Life Festival – Berkeley – September 17

The North Shattuck Association presents a day in celebration of North Berkeley’s “Gourmet Ghetto” – now in September and on a Saturday!   The event features artisanal food products, handmade arts and crafts, and local independent businesses, health practitioners, non-profits, and schools.  On Vine Street, the Festival’s Culinary Stage with cooking demonstrations and tastes by Bay Area chefs hosted by Kitchen on Fire Cooking School will be alongside Vintage Berkeley’s wine tasting garden and local restaurant food booths.  North on Shattuck Avenue, festival exhibitors will be joined by local musicians, street food vendors, art exhibits and activities, and a Saul’s Deli hosted beer garden with local microbrews.  Gourmet Ghetto businesses will host musicians, artists, and other entertainers for the day, and will also feature demonstrations, tours, tastings and more!

Call for Vendors for "Art, Wine and Chocolate" – Oct 1 – Suisun City

Waterfront Festival featuring “Art, Wine and Chocolate”
(sponsored by the Suisun City Historic Waterfront Business Improvement District)
Saturday, October 1, 2011
11 am – 5 pm
Main and Solano Streets, Suisun City 94585

Please join us at this exciting event to promote your business and meet new customers from Solano County and beyond!

There is no charge for chocolate vendors to participate.

You will be provided with a white 10 X 10 foot canopy, a banner with your company name, an 8 foot table, maroon color tablecloth and two chairs. You may decorate the booth as you like. Solano County Health Dept requires food vendors to file a One Day Special Event Permit.

Chocolate vendors are requested to provide samples and also invited to sell their delights. Please bring any marketing materials, brochures, coupons, etc you would like to promote your product.

In addition to the chocolate booths, there will be wine tasting of Suisun Valley and Solano County wines (charge for wine tasting which includes a commemorative wine glass), over 70 handcrafted artist and artisan booths…..along with two live bands, a bake-off and children’s activities. It promises to be a fun family event, with something for everyone to enjoy!

Advertising will include: 12,000 color postcards, full page ads in the Breeze (mailed to 41,000 homes in Fairfield and surrounding area), display on giant reader board going into Suisun City, posters and signs, radio spots and KUIC 95.3 live at the event.

The popular Leland Avenue Street Fair is back this year featuring headliner Lava live on stage! They’ll be performing music that moves your spirit to dance.

The Leland Avenue Street Fair is a free community festival in Visitacion Valley that welcomes people of all ages and neighborhoods. An exciting variety of home-grown talent, including artists, crafters, chefs, entertainers, service providers and other vendors, will line the streets of downtown Visitacion Valley to from Bayshore Blvd. to Peabody St. to celebrate our place in San Francisco.

The Fair is located in the southeast part of San Francisco near the Brisbane/Daly City border and is accessible by buses, the T-Third train, and Caltrain. The fairgrounds will offer live entertainment on the main stage, delicious eats, a children’s area featuring arts and crafts projects and an enclosed bicycle course courtesy of SF Urban Riders.

The Street Fair is presented by Visitacion Valley Business Opportunities and Outreach to Merchants (VVBOOM), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) program, with support from many sponsors.

SF Arts Market – Thursdays – UN Plaza

San Francisco Arts Market is a weekly open-air market and performance and activity platform. We offer vending space to local artists, artisans and supportive nonprofits to market and sell handmade products. A joint project of Independent Arts & Media and The Mayors Office of Economic Workforce and Development, the market aims to culturally and economically engage UN Plaza every Thursday. The Arts Market kicked off its 2nd year on June 16th, 2011 and is going strong. Join us for the fun and effort to vitalize the Civic Center region with art and culture!

We are currently seeking artist and artisan vendors and performers to participate at the Market. Vendors receive a placement in the Plaza, a 10×10 tent, steady foot traffic and a lunchtime crowd due to Off the Grid Food Trucks attendance in the Plaza from 11:00am-2:00pm. Vending is currently free! Tables and chairs can be rented for a nominal fee.

Vending is FREE!

**Vendor requirement is that merchandise marketed and sold must be designed and produced by local artists and artisans.
