The Hilton Concord Hotel and the City of Concord will hold a Festival Americana this coming Fourth of July Weekend from Friday night, July 2, 2010 till Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Hilton Concord. We are looking for artists, artisans and craftsmen and women to display and sell their artwork, craft products etc. at the festival. There is no charge for having a booth. The hotel will provide tables, etc. for booths free of charge. The event is to benefit the John Muir Health Foundation which serves the poor of Concord and Contra Costa County. In lieu of an exhibitor/booth charge we are asking vendors to agree to donate 10% of gross sales to the John Muir Health foundation directly. This would qualify as a tax deductible donation. If you or a friend or colleague would like to sell or display your work at the festival, please contact David Cantando, general manager of the Hilton Concord directly at either 925-349-2654 or via email at david.cantando@hilton.com . The festival will also feature musicical groups playing various types of American music from different stages throughout the hotel as well as county fair type summer foods. The event will be a family oriented one, however we do expect a greater percentage of attendees to be adults. Please feel free to contact me at any time and I will be happy to provide additional details.
Most sincerely,
David Cantando
General Manager
