Based in Alameda, Festival Productions is excited to have the opportunity to produce the 2012 Neptune Beach Community Celebration in its home town. The Alameda Chamber of Commerce is collaborating with the West Alameda Business Association and Festival Productions to produce what was known as the Webster Jam. The event name has been changed to take advantage of the historic tie between Webster Street and Neptune Beach – an amusement park and swim center that was located at the foot of Webster Street and was referred to as the “Coney Island of the West” in the 1920s. The Chamber and FP will use their extensive connections in Alameda to kick this event into high gear. The community is excited to see what this new team will bring to the street, which should translate to some great crowds for this year. There are a number of great ideas being considered like a sand sculpture contest right on the street and a dunk tank featuring candidates running for office being dunked for their favorite charity. Invites to demonstrate services are going to both the police and fire departments.
Standard Fees for 10′ x 10′ spaces: Arts & Crafts – $195
