Greetings STEM/STEAM & Hands On Gurus.  FREE BOOTH SPACE is still available now for this year’s Reid Hillview Airport extravaganza ‘Hot San Jose Nights presents Silicon Valley S.T.E.A.M. Festival.  A celebration of Science Technology Engineering Arts Math, and much more!

Saturday July 11, 2015 10am-4pm

San Jose Reid Hillview Airport – 2500 Cunningham Ave, San Jose (easy access from 680 at Capitol Expy, across from Eastridge Mall and Raging Waters)

Scientists, Engineers, Technologists, Artists, and Math people are very welcome, as is anybody who makes cool stuff!

Community Fun, Accessible Activities, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math galore, plus aviation, classic cars, the World’s Biggest Little RC Airshow at noon, more stuff than I have room to list.

Confirmed activities so far include (but are hardly limited to) :

* TechShop giving away 3D printer and laser-etched goodies
* 200+ classic cars will be strutting their stuff
* Electric and alt-fuel vehicles on display
* Marine Science Institute with their mobile shark tank with live sharks
* ‘The World’s Biggest Little RC Airshow’ will run a 1 hour airshow during a noontime airport shutdown
* The Tech Museum will be with us with their Tech Challenge seismic activities
* ROBOT ZOO – we will bring in dozens of robotics teams
* About 3 dozen historic/exotic aircraft will be on display
* DIASTER ALLEY – Salvation Army and many emergency response organizations will be hosting ‘Disaster Alley’
* NASA will be with us showing off fun stuff
* Mars Institute will be with us, maybe even showing off a Mars walker/spacesuit
* Revell will be with us giving away hundreds of build-it-on-site models
* On and on the fun stuff goes!
