Category Manager, Lifestyle / DIY & Crafts

Wikia is looking for a DIY, craft and home decorating enthusiast to lead the creation and growth of the DIY market within Wikia’s newest category, Lifestyle. The DIY Category Manager will define and execute audience acquisition efforts for the DIY and craft market within Wikia’s Lifestyle vertical category.

About the role:

>Develop strategic growth plans for DIY market through content development, on-site merchandising, external marketing and social media/PR outreach.
>Together with the Lifestyle and larger Content Marketing team, develop and kick-start new content areas within the DIY, craft and related markets.
>Develop and execute external grass-roots marketing campaigns (both online and off)
>Be the voice of Wikia’s DIY space both internally and within the larger DIY space online.
>Work closely with Product teams to conceptualize, test, implement features to improve deepen user engagement and attract new gamers
>Interface with sales to create innovative community integration campaigns and achieve high quality executions.
