Longest Running Handmade Holiday Show Returns to Fort Mason Center

December 13-14

Looking for unique, locally made gifts truly representative of the City by the Bay? Don’t miss San Francisco Bazaar, one of the largest and longest-running holiday fair in the Bay Area. This year San Francisco Bazaar returns to Fort Mason Center where it will host over 150 local makers selling some of the most original goods you’ll find this holiday season. This well-curated show will be open and free to the public from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, December 13th and Sunday, December 14th.

What makes San Francisco Bazaar so special? This one-of-a-kind holiday show was founded eight years ago by two San Francisco natives dedicated to helping local artisans establish and thrive. While other craft shows travel around the globe, San Francisco Bazaar highlights and invests in local talent. Husband-and-wife team Jamie Chan and Blas Herrera love to share how they have fostered countless new small businesses by putting community and local vendors first: “Over the years we have been working to define ourselves among the myriad of shows in the greater Bay Area. Our motto ‘By locals for locals, because we love you San Francisco’ sums up our mission as a small part-time staff of local artisans that powers the SF Bazaar. We love the San Francisco Bay Area, we live here and raise our families here. From the crafty seamstress down the street or the emerging art school graduate who needs a kick start before they hit the trade shows, SF Bazaar has been the starting point for so much talent in the Bay.

An equally important component of the show is its emphasis on giving back and providing a space for local nonprofits to share their great work with the community. This year SCRAP, SF Quilters Guild, FabMo, and SF Youth Employment Coalition number among the roster of nonprofits with booths at the show.

This year support your community and spend your hard-earned money on well-made products crafted by your neighbors. Once again this year’s vendors will be selling a wide range of goods, from clothing, handbags, and housewares to jewelry, art prints, ceramics, paper goods, and more. Showcased alongside well-loved returning vendors you’ll find emerging artists including Mac Cutting Boards, Laurel Begley Ceramics, Unpossible Cuts, Leafcutter Designs, and Birdy Botanicals.

The first 200 people through the door on both Saturday and Sunday will receive a custom tote bag and limited-edition print designed by Nidhi Chanani. This holiday season be sure to shop the longest-running local holiday fair in San Francisco and delight your friends and family with truly unique gifts they’ll cherish all year long.
